Any word on this one? I think Buddy owners (really any newer, and less distinct scooter) probably need to start adding their own details. You know, give your kid some distinguishing marks.

Seriously… most scooter thieves are looking to sell their booty for $100 to buy some crack. The purchaser is going to strip off decals, et al.

Yes a VIN is great if the new owner takes the scooter in for some work, or the scooter crime division of the Nashville PD busts a scooter bandit caper wide open, but what I was referring to is more immediately noticeable traits, cause like Amy said, I’ve seen 4 of these today. If I thought I saw one that had been reported stolen, I might give it a second look.
